So to summarize: For windows use HWIDGEN, for Office: You have to use a KMS activator. This activator works like magic and can be completely deleted after activation.
So running HWIDGEN on a new Win 10 install will make your pc look like a Win 7 installation and authorize your hardware on the ms server to automatically activate to Win 10 (even though your running it in Win 10). It has to do with the fact that Win 7 can be upgraded to Win 10 for free. HWIDGEN uses an exploit that MS has never closed up to this day. Sadly KMS activators are currently the only way to activate Office 2010 and onward. So using KMS activators work but you have to keep a part of the activator on your pc at all times to reset the counter. Most KMS activators comes with a scheduler (Service) that will reset the counter every time you restart your pc, BUT MS loves to add those schedulers to windows defender and delete them from your pc. KMS activators are activator that activates windows for only 180 days, then you need to run the KMS activation again to reset that 180 days counter. Telephone activation is no longer supported for your product.Activating Windows can only be done via two methods: KMS or HWIDGEN.
